Is it secure? Where is the data stored?
Yes, it is secure. All personally identifiable data captured through SafeVisit is kept within Australia through our Sydney servers provisioned by Amazon Web Service.
SafeVisit utilises Amazon Web Services (AWS) as we identified & acknowledge their globally trusted platforms and services, especially when it comes to cybersecurity & privacy concerns. AWS also has a proven track record in providing services to financial and educational institutions, healthcare providers and government agencies.
How about privacy?
Digitally storing your customers data will be safer and more secure than paper based alternatives where it can either be misplaced, damaged or copied/photographed by others. We have managed vast customer data for years across a range of prior projects and have done our due dilligence to ensure we are compliant with all required standards.
How long is the data kept for?
We will store your data based on the required period of time dictated by state governments (or any other jurisdictional requirements). After this period, this data will be forever deleted. Rest assured, these records will not be used for any other purpose aside from contact tracing.
What do I do if I need to provide data to the authorities?
In your setup email, you will receive your unique link for your dashboard to view all records stored during the required/legislated periods. If you have issues accessing records please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Will my customers/visitors get spammed?
No. Not ever. These details are only kept and used for contact tracing requirements.
My business isn't in Queensland. Does SafeVisit still cover me?
Absolutely! We’re working alongside businesses & Industry across every single state & territory within Australia, and we keep up to speed with each state & territories requirements for contact tracing so you can back to doing what you do best. No matter where you are, all you need is an internet connection and we handle the rest.
